Picture released as police hunt suspected burglar with “distinctive” clothing on
Police are hunting a suspected burglar with “distinctive” clothing on.
During the incident, which is reported to have occurred just after 5am on Monday 24 November, two men forced entry to a shed at The Causeway in Petersfield. Nothing was stolen from the shed, but a CCTV camera was stolen from outside.
Police said: “Were are sharing these images of a man we would like to speak to, who we believe can help us with our investigation. We understand that the identity of the man is obscured by the face covering, however, the clothing he is wearing is quite distinctive, and someone may recognise him from this.
“If you recognise this man, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, doorbell or dash cam footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
“You can do this by calling 101, or by reporting online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident number 44250529768.”
