Notorious naked railway trespasser again caught with knife on Portsmouth street

Melanie Geer, 47, of Northern Parade, admitted possessing a knife on London Road, North End, on December 8. She was handed conditional bail until her sentence hearing on February 10.

Former Leigh Park local Geer has been a notorious figure for trespassing on railway bridges, especially in Havant. She previously admitted trespassing on New Lane footbridge at Havant train station on multiple occasions including being found naked and drunk - putting her in breach of criminal behaviour orders.

In October 2022 the then troubled Leigh Park woman was due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court for sentence for two breaches of a criminal behaviour order and possession of a knife in a public place but started banging her head on a cell wall as she refused to attend.
