Man rearrested for controlling and coercive behaviour following death of "truly beautiful" Alison Luker
A man has been rearrested as investigations continue following the death of a “truly beautiful” woman.
Emergency services were called to an address in Frobisher Grove, Portchester, at 11.58am on October 20, 2025, to a report that 58-year-old Alison Luker had died.
As a result, police launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death, and a 43-year-old man from Fareham was previously arrested on suspicion of murder and unlawful act manslaughter.

He has now been further arrested for engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour in an intimate relationship, and remains under investigation for unlawful act manslaughter.
The man has been released on bail until April 15 while enquiries into Alison’s death continue.
Her family, who continue to be supported by specially trained officers, previously shared the following tribute to Alison: “Our Alison was deeply loved by all who knew her and had friends scattered across the world.
“She embraced life with an open heart — adventurous, compassionate, kind, and truly beautiful inside and out. She found joy in exploring new places, dancing with a glass of bubbles in hand, and celebrating every moment.
“But above all, she adored her daughters and young granddaughters. They were the light of her life and losing her so suddenly and tragically has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.”
