Man jailed after stabbing another man in arm during car row
A man has been jailed after admitting stabbing another man in the arm.

Daniel McAuley, 35, was sentenced at Winchester Crown Court after admitting a charge of causing Grievous bodily harm without intent.
The court heard that police were called to a report that a man in his 40s had been injured in the Durngate Terrace area of Winchester at around 10.20pm on Friday 20 June.
It was reported that there had been an altercation inside a vehicle and the man had been stabbed in the arm. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Officers attended and arrested McAuley, of Winnall Manor Road, Winchester, close to the scene. A discarded knife was found nearby.
Following an investigation by officers, McAuley was charged in relation to this incident. At court on Monday, he was jailed for 30 months.
Officer in the case, Detective Constable Frank Jones, said: “The consequences of carrying and using knives can be devastating.
“Fortunately in this case, the victim did not sustain a life-threatening injury, but using a knife in this way can easily lead to fatal consequences.
“I hope this investigation and court result shows we will take knife crime seriously and will look to take those who perpetrate it off the streets and before the courts.”
