Man accused of attempted murder after stabbing denies the charge
A MAN accused of attempted murder in a stabbing has denied the charge.
Ashley Luff, 32, of Bedford Drive, Fareham, appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court this morning.
He is accused of attempting to murder Nathan Birch on August 19 in Southampton Road, Park Gate.
Luff pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and an alternative charge of wounding with intent.
Judge Roger Hetherington remanded Luff in custody to appear at his trial on April 1 next year.
