'Large scale' Southsea cannabis farm found by police after man spotted acting suspiciously

A CANNABIS farm was discovered by police after a man was spotted acting suspiciously in the early hours.

Officers were called to Grayshott Road in Southsea at 3.05am this morning after reports of suspicious behaviour at a property.

Upon arriving police carried out a search and found that it was being used as a ‘large scale’ cannabis factory.

However before raiding the illegal farm, officers had to call for help from Southern and Scottish Electricity to ‘make sure it was safe’.
