Judge tells Havant drug driver 'don't do anything stupid' after he crashed his car into a wall
“I think you need help with your thinking,” the judge told him.
A man who crashed his car into a wall while under the influence of drugs was told “don’t do anything stupid” by a Portsmouth judge.
Bobbylee Dugdale, 42 from Havant Road, Drayton, was driving through Farlington Avenue on Friday, July 4 last year when he crashed his Ford C-Max into a wall. Police arrived on the scene and deemed that he was unfit to drive due to drugs in his system.

Dugdale pleaded guilty on January 5 this year, and appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates Court earlier today (Friday, April 10) for sentencing. There, Deputy District Judge Brown tore into him - before banning him from getting behind the wheel.
He said: “You were on a cocktail of drugs, driving a vehicle full of people, and crashed into a wall. You were an accident waiting to happen.
“You have been using drugs and knew for a face that they don’t automatically disappear from your system. I think you need help with your thinking.”
Mitigating, Dugdale’s solicitor Lian Webster highlighted that he had been struggling with his mental health.
Dugdale, who wore a tracksuit in the dock, protested when he was disqualified from driving for 42 months - the equivalent of three and a half years - on top of being handed a 12-month community order, with 10 rehabilitation activity days.
Judge Brown added: “It could easily have been four years, I’m being good to you; the minimum disqualification is three years. With your record, if you do re-offend you will likely go to prison.”
Dugdale was also ordered to pay a £114 surcharge, plus £85 in costs.
