Hunt for Southsea pervert who indecently exposed himself to six women - including teenage girl
A PERVERT who indecently exposed himself to a number of women while carrying out a lewd act is being hunted by police.
A male, matching the same description each time, has been reported to police by six separate women for acting indecently in Southsea during a four-week period.
Officers have insisted they are making it a ‘priority’ to hunt down the suspect following the disturbing series of events.
PC Kate Hollis said: ‘We know news of these incidents will be concerning to residents but locating this man is a priority for us.

‘Fortunately, none of these women were physically harmed in any way, but they were understandably shocked by what happened to them.’
The first incident was reported to officers on April 17, when a woman spotted a male in Lowcay Road who appeared to be ‘inappropriately touching himself’ between 11pm and midnight.
Days later, on April 20, a 24-year-old woman reported a male who indecently exposed himself at Southsea Castle, at about 9.10am.
Then on April 25, a 29-year-old woman contacted police about a man she had seen on the beachfront by The Pyramids, ‘inappropriately touching himself’ at around 8pm.
On April 28 a 16-year-old girl reported that a man, matching the same description as the previous incidents, drove up beside her near Southsea Common at around 8.30am and tried to talk to her.
Two further incidents were reported this month, in Osborn Road on May 6, where a 21-year-old woman reported a man with his hands down his trousers and on May 11, when a 28-year-old woman reported seeing a man touching himself inappropriately close to Southsea Castle.
A spokeswoman for Hampshire police said the force ‘believed’ all the incidents were ‘linked’.
The suspect was white, around 6ft tall, of a slim build and aged between 40 and 50-years-old. He was also reportedly wearing glasses on some occasions, police added.
PC Hollis added patrols across Southsea had been ‘stepped up’ and that CCTV enquiries were ‘ongoing’.
Anyone with any information, or who has seen someone matching the suspect’s description ‘acting suspiciously’ is being urged to call police on 101, quoting 44200139487, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
