Hidden stash of cash discovered inside sound speaker and cannabis found on driver after police "suspicions"
Cash hidden in a sound speaker has been discovered following an arrest for possession with the intent to supply drugs.
While police officers were responding to a crash in Eastleigh on Saturday, December 20, their attention was drawn to a car driving past the incident.
After catching a whiff of cannabis, officers followed and stopped the car where their suspicions grew.

A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Roads Policing Unit said: “He was detained under Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, and a search revealed a large quantity of Class B drugs (cannabis).”
The 34-year-old male from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
The post added: “Our RPU officers worked alongside PD Lacey and her handler from the Dog Section and officers from Southampton District Policing Team (DPT), officers carried out a Section 18 Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 search at the suspect’s address.
“PD Lacey’s incredible nose led officers to a hidden stash of cash inside a sound system speaker.”
As a result, over £11,000 in cash and more drugs were seized.
