Prolific fuel thief who targeted Sainsbury's petrol station on the run from police - wanted
A fuel thief who persistently targeted a petrol station is on the run from police.
Jonathan Ward, 26, is wanted following several incidents at a Sainsbury’s fuel station. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said he made off without payment from the site in Hedge End three times, stealing £800 worth of fuel.

“Our teams have been following various lines of enquiry to locate him, we are now asking the public for their help,” the force added.
Ward is described as being white, roughly 6ft tall, and of slim build with dark brown hair. “We would like to remind people that anyone found to be harbouring Jonathan to deliberately obstruct our attempts to locate him may be committing an offence and be liable for arrest themselves,” police said.
“If you have seen him, or have information regarding his whereabouts, please do not approach him and instead contact police on 999 quoting 44250389376.” Reports can also be submitted online via the police website. Anonymous information can be sent to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111, or by filling in a form online.
