Frances Obiefuleh: Family of murdered Havant woman pay emotional tribute to 'kind, intelligent, and resourceful' mother
The family of a woman murdered in her own home have paid tribute to a “deeply loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend”.
Frances Obiefuleh was 45 years old when she was murdered inside her home in Havant, with her body being found by police on April 17 last year.
In Portsmouth Crown Court today, Norbert Maiksner, 49 from Timsbury Crescent, Havant, was convicted of her murder after being found guilty by a jury, following a two-week trial.

In a statement issued via Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, Ms Obiefuleh’s grieving family paid an emotional tribute to a “beautiful soul” who was cruely taken.
Her family said: “Frances was kind, intelligent, and resourceful - a caring and deeply loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was a devoted mother and beautiful in every sense of the word.
“Someone we love has been cruelly taken from us, and it has changed our lives forever.
“We have lost a truly beautiful soul. Her bright light has been cruelly dimmed, and we are left shaken, heartbroken, and still trying to process the grief and shock of losing Frances.”
Maiksner will be sentenced on Monday, March 30.
