Fareham police report driver repeatedly warned about Covid breaches in Asda car park
A 23-YEAR-OLD man previously warned about breaching Covid restrictions has been summoned to court after police found him at a suspected car meet in a supermarket car park.
Police recognised the Gosport resident as they checked on a potential car meet in the car park of Asda, Speedfields Park, at 8.30pm last Thursday.
He had been warned previously about several Covid breaches, according to a social media post from Fareham police.
The post continued: ‘To assist this person’s memory on the current rules, they have been reported for summons and will likely be issued with a £200 fine.’

Hampshire Constabulary believe that at least two cars attended the meeting, with officers explaining the current health protection regulations to those present.
