Fareham police fine uninsured driver after he made a 'costly' hand gesture to passing police car

A MAN from Fareham has been found driving without insurance – after he made an attention-grabbing hand gesture to a passing police car.

Fareham police stopped the car near Brockhurst Gate on Saturday, discovering that the driver was uninsured

Officers said the man’s expressive hand-sign proved to be a ‘costly wave’.

In a social media post, Fareham police said: ‘Word of advice...If you are driving a vehicle without insurance, do not make a hand gesture to a passing police vehicle drawing attention to yourself.
