Fareham man facing "no further action" after arrest on suspicion of common assault in Locks Heath

A Fareham man will face no further action after being arrested on suspicion of common assault.

The police issued an appeal for witnesses following the incident on Thursday, January 15 in Locks Heath Centre Way where it was reported that a man and a woman were involved in an argument. Having been bailed until Tuesday, April 14, the police have confirmed the 35-year-old will face no further action.

A Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson said: “The 35-year-old man from Fareham arrested on suspicion of common assault will now face no further action in relation to this offence.”
