Fareham man denies dangerous driving charge after crash in Bishop's Waltham left motorcyclist in hospital

A DRIVER has appeared in court to deny causing a collision that left a motorcyclist in a life-threatening condition in Bishop’s Waltham last year.

Bishopsfield Road resident Darren Howett has appeared at Winchester Crown Court to plead not guilty to causing serious injury to Aaron Alford by dangerous driving.

The hearing comes after a crash involving a Golf and two motorcycles in Coppice Hill on Thursday, March 12, 2020.

One of the motorcyclists suffered life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital, according to a police statement released shortly after the incident.

The trial for the dangerous driving charge is due to take place on August 16.
