Fareham man arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs after stash of narcotics found in car
A man has been arrested for drug supply offences after a stash was found in a car.
The 27-year-old Fareham resident was detained following an incident in Gosport last week. Officers visited a property following checks from a PCSO on August 7.
Car keys were discovered at the address, with narcotics being found inside following a police search. The man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply.
Gosport Police reported on Facebook: “Following some top level patrolling by one of our PSCO's checks were made at a Gosport address by officers from Gosport and Fareham.
“A number of people were in the address and one of them was found to be in possession of the keys for the car in which the drugs were found, he has been booked into Portsmouth Custody Centre and will be interviewed in due course. A great team effort, bringing offenders to justice.”
