The Gosport man has been arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs, driving without insurance, possession of a Class B drug and failing to stop for police.

A spokesperson for Gosport Police said: “This serves as a reminder that E-Scooters are subject to the same laws around road safety and substance use as any other vehicle.

“Choosing to ignore police and/or ride under the influence not only puts both yourself and others at risk, but you will also face prosecution.”
