Drugs raid at Milton address as police dog sniffs out illicit substances
ABUSING drugs ‘will not be tolerated,’ police have said after a raid.
Officers sprang into action with police dog Livvy at an address in Gisors Road, Milton, on Wednesday morning.
They dealt with a resident via an out-of-court disposal after searching the address.
Posting on Facebook, officers said: ‘Portsmouth Central beat officers, assisted by Southsea beat officers executed a warrant at an address... this morning relating to the misuse of drugs.

‘Police dog Livvy was also requested to assist in our search. It's always such a privilege to see police dogs in action. Police dogs like Livvy provide such a vital role to the police in many situations.
‘So many factors have had an impact on policing and resourcing recently. However, it is a clear message that the misuse of drugs will not be tolerated in communities.
‘Warrants are a means of providing reassurance to our communities and ensuring that individuals are dealt with for criminal matters and those that may be vulnerable are signposted to supporting agencies.
