"Driving requires clear vision" - Driver stopped in Portsmouth with sticker covering chunk of the windscreen
Police pull over driver with windscreen covered by a sticker
A driver was stopped in Portsmouth after police noticed a sticker was covering a large area of the windscreen.
The patrolling officers noticed the car when driving along Rodney Road, Milton, on Thursday, April 16. The driver was subsequently pulled over and reported for not being in a position to have a proper view of the road.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary posted news of the offence on social media. The post said: “Driving requires clear vision - something that was definitely not achieved by this motorist. RPU Havant D Shift was out yesterday in the Portsmouth and Southsea areas when we spotted this interesting windscreen decoration on a car in Rodney Road.
“The driver was reported for not being in a position to have a proper view of the road.”
On the same day 25 drivers were reported for not wearing a seatbelt and eight motorists were caught using a phone while driving.
The post added: “A busy day keeping your roads safe! Remember - if you can't see through it, it shouldn't be on your windscreen. Simple as that.”
