Boy, 15, arrested after 40 taxis and cars vandalised in Portsmouth
A BOY has been arrested after 40 cars '“ many of them taxis '“ had their windows smashed in Portsmouth.
Hampshire police said a 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle.
It comes after officers were investigating a series of incidents in the city.
A spokeswoman said: ‘A total of 40 reports have made to police, including incidents of theft from motor vehicle and criminal damage.
‘Many of the vehicles were taxis.’
