Body of man, in his 20s, found in woods near Havant and South Downs College campus

Police were called to Gundymoor Woods near Havant and South Downs College’s South Downs campus in College Road, Crookhorn, at 1.02pm yesterday to reports of a sudden death.

The force has now confirmed that a man in his 20s had died.

Witnesses reported that part of the bridle path was closed off by officers on Tuesday afternoon.

A police spokesman said: ‘His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers at this time.

‘His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.’
