Car spotted driving the wrong way on the A34 as police appeal for witnesses
Police are appealing for witnesses following dangerous driving incident on A34 where a car was seen driving on the wrong side of the busy dual carriageway.
Hampshire Police are searching for witnesses after receiving multiple reports that a black Honda CRV was seen driving northbound on the southbound carriageway before correcting itself and continuing on the correctly carriageway.
This happened on the A34 between Burghclere and Tot Hill Services between 10.05pm and 10.10pm yesterday (Tuesday December 23) with a number of vehicles narrowly avoiding colliding with the vehicle.
Officers are appealing for anyone who was on these roads at the time and witnessed the driving to come forward, with the A34 a busy commuter route and popular with drivers from the Portsmouth area travelling to and from the north.
A police appeal said: “Did you see anything? Perhaps you have dashcam footage showing the vehicle?
