Cosham High Street in Portsmouth taped off by police

Cosham High Street has been taped off by police this morning.

The area around the bingo hall in the pedestrianised precinct is shut, with officers by the cordon.

Police officers on the scene remained tight-lipped about what had happened when asked by The News, but there were indications that it was some kind of assault.

The News has contacted Hampshire Constabulary for details.
