Body of 46-year-old man discovered following missing person appeal

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary launched a missing person for David Jenkins from Frith End, who was last seen in the Frith End area at around 4pm yesterday (February 3).

The force has now confirmed that a body of a man was located in woodland near Frith End during their search for David.

A spokesperson for the constabulary said: “While formal identification has not yet taken place, his family have been informed.

“A file will now be prepared for the coroner.”
