Body found in search for missing Andrew Jameson from London who last seen at Petersfield Railway Station

Police have confirmed that a man’s body has been found in their search for a missing man from London.
Andrew Jameson, 62, was last seen at Petersfield Railway Station on May 11 with police releasing numerous appeals calling for help in locating him.
While a formal identification has not yet taken place, police have confirmed that a body was found in the Petersfield area on Thursday, June 11.
A Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson said: “Officers searching for missing Andrew Jameson from London sadly discovered the body of a man yesterday (Thursday 11 June) in the Petersfield area.
“Formal identification has not yet taken place, but Andrew’s family have been informed. A file will be prepared for the coroner. Thank you to all of you who shared our earlier appeal.”
