9 revealing birds eye pictures of Hilsea Lido as the multi-million pound regeneration project continues

Work has been making steady progress at the £7.75m regeneration project at Hilsea Lido, with the pool being transformed under the protective tent.

The scheme, which is being paid for by the Levelling Up Fund and carried out by Beard, will welcome new changing rooms, benches, tables, fountain and a fully functioning pool, as well as a sauna.

Most recently, the contractors have applied paint to the swimming pool and there are plans for the tent to be gradually moved at the start of next year, with an open date anticipated for spring.
