The iconic St Paul’s Cathedral welcomed the Sri Sathya Sai Charitable Trust UK for a harmony event.

The event, named Harmony - Through Love & Service, is an interfaith and intercultural gathering and is part of the Centenary Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Held within one of the most renowned sacred spaces in the world, the event welcomed more than 275 distinguished guests, including faith leaders, community representatives, philanthropists, and public life leaders, all united in celebrating the universal message of Baba which highlights the values of love, compassion, service, peace, and harmony in daily life.

The evening embodied Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s guiding message - “Love All. Serve All. Help Ever. Hurt Never.”

The programme unfolded in three parts.

Guests joined the Cathedral’s traditional Evensong, enriched by the world-renowned St Paul’s Choir under the musical direction of Andrew Carwood MBE, Director of Music.

This was followed by a contemplative interfaith service conducted by The Reverend & Preceptor Canon Philip Banks, featuring sacred hymns, readings from Sathya Sai Speaks, and insightful talks by key guests honouring the timeless messages of Unity and Love.

Finally, a reception offered space for heartfelt connection, unity across traditions, and discussions on compassion-led community action.

The evening was also enriched by the presence and contributions of Satyajit Salian who lived with Baba, humanitarian and global spiritual leader MohanJi and philanthropist and business leader Jagdish Chanrai.

The Harmony event forms part of a wider, year-long programme of centenary celebrations delivered by the Sri Sathya Sai Charitable Trust UK - and brings more than 3,000 people from various communities in the country together in uplifting prayer, song, reflection and community-focussed service.

It all reaffirms a 100 year mission of awakening love, peace and unity in every heart.

A significant highlight of the Harmony event was the announcement of the next major initiative of the Trust - the Parliament of All Religions, London 2026 based on the theme ‘Harmony through Nature’.

This initiative is inspired by Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s profound call to action for unity among all faiths and communities, based on the common-thread of reverence for Nature.

The Parliament will aim to celebrate positive action in local communities, and champion designs which promote community cohesion through environmental regeneration. The Trust emphasised that such a gathering in London will serve as a Force for Goodness and a Beacon of Hope for harmony in a complex and fragmented world.

With the centenary celebrations and the upcoming Parliament of All Religions, the Trust reaffirms its dedication to promote educare, healthcare, sociocare and ecocare programmes to benefit society- a holistic model for compassionate upliftment.
