The best cities in the UK in which to raise a family have been named, with the winner receiving a perfect score.

Cities across the UK were rated for numerous criteria, including schools, green spaces, crime rates, air quality and childcare and housing costs to determine their ranking.

According to the new study by Kaybridge Residential, Glasgow is the best place in the UK for families to live, with an overall score of 100 out of 100.

“Affordable housing combined with good schools, safe streets, and clean air makes it an attractive option for families planning their next move.”

Aberdeen was second in the table, while York is the third best city in the UK in which to raise a family, according to the findings.
