Two bedroom Fareham home which requires "redecorating" sells for £61,000 above guide price after bidding war
Attracting considerable interest at auction is a two-bedroom home which has sold following a bidding war.
Located in Alders Road, Fareham, the semi-detached freehold home sold for £221,000 at auction with Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers and Chinneck Shaw.
Joe Rocks, auction appraiser for Clive Emson Auctioneers, said: “There was keen interest in the property, which went for £61,000 above guide price following 56 bids.”

The home has been used as a letting investment “as part of an income producing portfolio, and requires redecorating” but afterwards it would be “ideal” as an investment property or for owner occupation.
The listing previously said: “There is scope and potential to extend the property further, similar to the surrounding properties, subject to all necessary consents being obtainable.”
