Old Portsmouth bistro The A Bar to temporarily close for kitchen maintenance

The A Bar, located in the heart of Old Portsmouth, was established twenty years ago and it has been a family-run business ever since.

The venue, which is known for its gorgeous position on the cobbled streets, has taken to social media to confirm it will be closed this week for kitchen maintenance.

The post said: “We’ll be closed for kitchen maintenance work this week from Monday 5th January.

“Thank you for your patience and continued support.”

The eatery is known for its extensive menu, with pizzas and its Sunday roast proving particularly popular amongst customers.

The bistro is set to reopen on Friday, January 9 from 5pm.
