Food outlet Nando's could be coming to The Pompey Centre - next door to a KFC
A new food outlet could be coming to The Pompey Centre - and it could prompt a chicken war to break out.
Nando’s, the fast food chicken restaurant, has lodged a planning application with Portsmouth City Council to replace Bensons for Beds at unit 2 of the Fratton Way site. Proposed shopfront signage has been submitted to the council for approval.
If the proposal gets the go-ahead it will join other fast food outlets McDonald’s and - controversially - KFC at the retail centre near Fratton Park.
