As someone who absolutely adores a traditional Sunday roast, I think it’s only fair to share some of my favourite spots in the city that would be perfect for Father’s Day which is quickly looming (Sunday, June 15).

9. The King Street Tavern
This pub can be found in King Street, Southsea - it is a fantastic spot for people on the hunt for a traditional boozer with heaps of character. Address: 70 King St, Southsea, PO5 4EH Photo: MRW

10. The Old Customs House, Gunwharf Quays
The Old Customs House pub in Gunwharf Quays is a popular spot, especially in the summer months as it comes with an outside area which has some wonderful views of the canal at Gunwharf Quays and the harbour which frequently welcomes some incredible ships and yachts. To make this even better, dogs are more than welcome at the venue. Photo: Contributed
