First store to open in new section of Waterloo Park

Coffee lovers have a new place to visit in Waterlooville as a new drive thru store opened in the area.

The Costa Coffee Drive Thru is the first of three new stores to open in Waterloo Park with construction beginning at the start of the year. The coffee chain welcomed its first customers on Thursday, October 22 as the new store became the third Costa Coffee shop to open in the town.

A Costa Coffee Spokesperson said: “We’re thrilled to have opened our new Costa Coffee Drive Thru store at Waterloo Park, Waterlooville. The new store offers a convenient Drive Thru lane, comfortable seating and a modern space for customers to relax, unwind and catch up over their favourite Costa Coffee drinks.

“We’re also proud to have created 17 new jobs, bringing a talented team of baristas to the area who are looking forward to becoming part of the local community. What's more, the opening coincides with the launch of Costa Coffee’s Christmas menu, making it the perfect opportunity for customers to discover our new festive range.”

With work starting in January there has been anticipation over the opening of a new Aldi, KFC and Costa. KFC is set to open on Monday, October 26 while the Aldi is opening on Tuesday, November 26.
