Benedict's Brunchbar announces opening date as all-day breakfast spot set to open in Waterlooville
Not long to wait for a new breakfast spot
Signs have appeared for a new eatery in Waterlooville with foodies not having to wait to long to get a taste of its menu.
The 29-year-old from Cowplain has confirmed that the new brunch spot will open on Tuesday, June 9.

Posting on social media, Ben said: “A few more weeks… and a dream we’ve worked so hard for finally becomes real. Seeing our sign up today was one of those moments we’ll never forget. Early mornings, late nights, stress, sacrifice, excitement… all leading to this.
“Benedict’s is almost ready to open its doors, and we genuinely can’t wait to welcome you in. Thank you to everyone supporting us already. Not long now.”
Ben has a long history of running successful eateries in the area, including working for Josie’s in Petersfield and Alresford. Benedict’s is described as having a “similar vibe” to Josie’s as an all-day breakfast spot but it will have its own unique identity and take on brunch.
One feature of the menu that will set it apart is the menu with a large range of gluten free options available. The full menu has not been released yet but pancakes will be a big part of it alongside classic breakfasts such as a full English and eggs benedict, there will also be muffins, cakes and “all things brunch”.
Benedict’s Brunchbar is opening in the unit previously occupied by VK Plant Based Diner which closed last year
