Cosham sibings prepare for once-in-a-lifetime Disney Cruise adventure after winning competition
Two young Disney fans have won a holiday of a lifetime after entering a competition to set sail on an epic themed cruise.
Six-year-old, Milly Thompson, and her four-year-old brother, Max, from Cosham, are getting ready to set sail on the Disney Cruise Line alongside their family this summer.
The once-in-a-lifetime trip comes after the siblings won the Disney Mini Duos competition, which invited parents across the UK to submit a 60 second video of their duo showing why it was their dream to go to Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World Resort or onboard the Disney Dream.
Lucy, Max and Milly’s mum, said: “We feel so lucky that Milly and Max have been chosen to be Disney Cruise Captains - it’s a trip of a lifetime and we really cannot wait.”
The winners were announced in person at the Store, in London’s Oxford Street, by Jodi Benson, the voice of Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, and Samantha Barks, who famously played Elsa in the West End production of Frozen.
For their winning entry video, the pair showcased their shared creativity and love of arts and crafts with an impressive painted picture of the cruise ship. While on board, they will have the opportunity to meet the ship’s captains, take part in themed activities and enjoy spectacular Disney entertainment at sea.
