Are these Portsmouth's first Christmas lights for 2020?

Christmas has started barreling towards us with the speed of a sled pulled by Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer.

Festive themed adverts have begun to take over the television and you may have even heard some classic seasonal songs on the radio.

But while Christmas might be getting closer and closer by the hour, you might not have yet embraced the full spirit of the holiday quite like one house in Fratton.

The home on the corner of Clive Road and Barnes Road has already embraced the yuletide spirit and decked the walls with lights.

Opting for classic icicle lights on the front and the side, the festive decorations were spotted on November 11 – 44 days before December 25.

This means that the house must be in the running for the first Christmas lights put up in Portsmouth this year.

Have you spotted any other festive decorations or have you put up yours yet?

If you have we would love to see them, so send your pictures to [email protected].
