Totters' market outside Portsmouth dockyard was given its marching orders | Nostalgia

Until the spring of 1976 a ‘totters’ market’ was held along Unicorn Road, Landport, each Friday.

The totters and sellers were given notice and after April 1, 1976, by the port admiral. And so another little piece of Portsmouth history vanished. Both pictures are from the Richard Boryer collection.
