A Portsmouth woman is calling on the breast cancer survivor community for help in testing her new specialist gymwear.

Sara Gohl, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 which required a mastectomy, is calling for the community to take part in a trial of new sports bras. She is the part owner of STACKD gym wear which is developing a sport bra designed to support those that have gone through a mastectomy.

Sara is hoping to get as many local people involved as possible. She said: “We have been working on and developing sports bras that are compatible for breast prosthetics to cater for girls like me. What is missing in the market is a sports bra for all that is also fashionable and caters for all needs and does not discriminate.

“We are searching for individuals of all shapes and sizes that have had a single or double mastectomy and that are either currently using prosthetics or living life without. Once fully tested and developed this could potentially be a big game changer in the world of gym wear and breast cancer.”

The trial is running until Wednesday, June 26. For those that would be interested in taking part in the testing, they can contact Sara via email at [email protected].
