On March 23, 2020, prime minister Boris Johnson announced that all non-essential shops as well as pubs, restaurants, theatres, nightclubs, gyms, libraries and other venues had to shut.
To mark the anniversary, It has been six years since Portsmouth was first put into lockdown during the Covid pandemic.
