Year 7 Impress with Powerful Storytelling in ‘Eastern Delights’ Showcase
Portsmouth High School Year 7 students put on some fantastic performances at the end of term when they treated an audience of parents to ‘Eastern Delights’ – some tales and legends from far away.
Earlier in the day they had performed to pupils from Cottage Grove Primary School and St George's Beneficial Primary School.
In their drama lessons, Year 7 had been working on the importance of good story telling and good communication; how to speak clearly and with confidence and how to hold the attention of the audience.
The plays were a brilliant showcase of everything they had learned during their first term at Portsmouth High School.
