Portsmouth teaching group is successful in bid
A GROUP which helps teachers has won a bid to support them in returning to the classroom.
The Portsmouth Teaching School Alliance was successful in its bid to the National College of Teaching.
Lynn Nicholls, school direct, said: ‘This bid helps us to source and support secondary teachers back to the profession.
‘Collaborating with schools, who have vacancies in either maths, physics or modern languages, we can offer a package of support.’
The scheme focuses on employment and will help returners back to work, whether full-time or part-time. For details portsmouthtsa.org.
