Hampshire-based PHVC donates new electric minibus to Beaucroft College
Students at Beaucroft College are now able to take part in more trips, activities and community events thanks to the donation of a brand-new 100% electric Ford e-Transit minibus from PHVC Minibus Leasing & Fleet Suppliers, working in partnership with Variety, the Children’s Charity.
This 15-seat electric minibus will enable Beaucroft College students to travel across Dorset and beyond, giving them greater independence, the chance to visit new places, experience different learning environments and develop valuable life skills outside of the classroom.
Donations form part of Variety’s Sunshine Coach programme, which aims to improve young lives across the UK.
Paul Huxford, Founder and Chairman of PHVC, said: "We’re proud to work with Variety to bring a brand-new, 100% electric minibus to Beaucroft College. Helping students gain independence and access new opportunities is truly a privilege for us at PHVC."
The handover took place on November 13 at Beaucroft College, where staff and representatives from PHVC celebrated the arrival of the vehicle and the ongoing partnership between the two organisations.
