Disabled children benefit from Portsmouth spring ball

GENEROUS party-goers raised £13,000 for a charity which supports disabled children.

The Road Rose Association works with children who have multiple and complex disabilities across Hampshire.

A spring ball was held at the Portsmouth Marriott hotel and nearly 200 guests attended.

It was sponsored by Portsmouth’s Wild Recruitment and TJ Waste & Recycling along with print partners Diguru.

Chief executive Heather Aspinall, who has run the charity for more than 20 years, said: ‘We felt the warmth and generosity of so many people all through the evening.’
