Autumn colours were out in force as a school held a seasonal fair

Hay bales, pumpkins and marshmallow toasting were all on the agenda as a school held its harvest fayre.

Leesland Junior School in Gosport put on the day on Saturday, as part of its campaign to raise money for outdoor play equipment.

There were many stalls from local businesses and organisations, and also a scarecrow-making competition.

School office staff member Stephanie Ancell said: “We've got a lovely school community, and I wanted to create an event that was autumn themed to bring our school community and our local community together, to celebrate the harvest, and promote, from our school, and everything we have to offer.”
