"Warm and welcoming" Denmead care home welcomes brass band
Denmead Grange Care Home is a care home with a full activities programme and strong links to its community.
Warm and welcoming it is often buzzing with family groups making special memories and having precious moments. This week it has literally hooted and tooted with excitement and pleasurable noises!
They have welcomed in the Denmead Brass Band who gave a superb performance for residents, staff and families to truly enjoy during a lovely afternoon of live music.
Residents of Denmead Grange were captivated by the range of instruments and the incredible talent of the musicians. The room was filled with smiles, clapping, and plenty of enjoyment as everyone soaked up the atmosphere. Events like these bring so much joy and connection, and as hosts Denmead Grange were so grateful to the band for providing such a special experience.
General Manager Abbie Johnston said ‘It was a fabulous afternoon. The music was tremendous and our residents very evidently had a wonderful time. We were delighted to host and give grateful thanks to all the band members and band master.’
