Veterans Captain raises money for Alzheimers
A cheque for £2600 was handed over to a representative of the Alzheimer’s Society by the outgoing Veterans Captain at Southwick Park Golf Club.
At the clubs Veterans AGM, outgoing Captain, Roy Valentine, presented a cheque for £2600 to Ross Boon from the Alzheimer’s Society. This amazing total was raised throughout the year through raffles, auctions and donations.
Roy is thrilled with this amazing amount and is thankful to all the members of the veterans section at Southwick Park Golf Club who generously gave to his charity.
Roy chose this charity as he had lost his younger brother and also his father in law to this terrible disease.
