Together we did it: Family of four lose 16 stone with Chantelle’s Slimming World, Baffins
As a family, we never imagined just how much our lives would change when we joined Slimming World. Between the four of us, we’ve lost an incredible 16 stone, but what we’ve gained means so much more – health, confidence, happiness, and a bond that’s stronger than ever
For Sue, the journey began after a very difficult time. After losing her dad, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Understandably, life took over and Sue gained two-and-a half stone. Her knees were hurting, everyday tasks felt harder, and she knew something had to change.
That’s when she reached out and joined Baffins Slimming World with Chantelle, where her daughter Maria was already attending. From that very first group, Sue felt welcomed and supported. Today, she can happily chase her grandchildren around and has proudly maintained her dream target weight for ten months.
She absolutely loves group and is now a huge part of it, proof that Slimming World really is about so much more than weight loss.
Maria has truly been the family’s rock throughout everyone’s journey. Having already lost an amazing ten stone, she inspired the rest of us to believe change was possible.
One moment that really stuck with her was realising she used to carry the same amount of weight as her Slimming World consultant something she could hardly believe. Now, Maria loves power walking, feels full of energy, and has maintained her dream target weight for a couple of years. Her dedication and encouragement have helped keep us all going.
For Connie, it was seeing a photo of herself that sparked change. She barely recognised herself and knew it was time to do something for herself. With the support of her family, she joined Slimming World and went on to reach her dream target weight in under a year.
She’s now maintaining beautifully and loving being able to wear different clothes and feel confident again. Connie says she couldn’t have done it without her wonderful consultant, who made her feel so welcome from day one, and the amazing Friday morning group that supports her every step of the way.
Leah wanted a group where she could feel relaxed and comfortable, especially with her little baby girl by her side. With the help of her family, she attended every single week, staying committed even when life was busy. Just before Christmas, she reached her dream target weight, and the health benefits and confidence boost have been incredible.
As a family, this journey has brought us closer than ever. We love our Baffins Slimming World group and honestly couldn’t ask for a better consultant no judgement, full of understanding, and always there to lift us up when motivation dips. Slimming World hasn’t just changed our bodies it’s changed our lives.
