Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties has installed a brand-new outdoor library at its Whiteley development, The Copse at Woodlands Chase.

The installation of the outdoor library aims to encourage a love for reading within the new community at the development and will provide residents with access to a wide selection of adult and children's books on a bring and borrow basis.

Roz Wells, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, said: “We are excited to launch our brand-new outdoor library at The Copse at Woodlands Chase, creating a place where residents can share their favourite novels after reading them while also discovering a new one to love.

"By providing access to books for both adults and children, we hope to foster a sense of community and inspire a lifelong passion for reading.”

The outdoor library will be accessible to all residents and visitors, with books available for borrowing or donation. Residents are encouraged to take a book, enjoy it at their leisure, and return it for others to enjoy. Additionally, residents are welcome to contribute to the library by donating books they have finished reading, ensuring a constant rotation of fresh reading material.

The unveiling of the outdoor library took place on Saturday, November 1, during a Hallowe'en-themed launch event for the development’s two new show homes and its latest phase of homes, The Copse at Woodlands Chase.
