Snows BYD dealership in Waterlooville set to be given an exciting new look

Just before Christmas, Snows Motor Group opened a BYD showroom and workshop in Elettra Avenue, Hambledon Road. And work will begin next month to remodel the premises – bringing facilities right up-to-date and making them truly fit for purpose.

BYD is known for producing high-quality and great-value electric and hybrid vehicles. Snows represents the Chinese manufacturer at six locations across southern and South-West England.

A Chichester site has recently opened and Snows’ other BYD dealerships are in Basingstoke, Honiton, Newbury and Southampton.

Once finished, the new-look showroom will have space for 14 new models to be displayed inside, a state-of-the-art workshop, and a comfortable lounge for customers.

Sales executive Mike Waterhouse explained: ‘‘The great thing about BYD is that there is something for everyone – they make city cars, estates, saloons, SUVs – and a pick-up will be joining the line-up later this year. For customers not quite ready to go fully electric, hybrid alternatives are available too.’’

BYD achieved record-breaking UK sales in 2025, notching up 51,422 vehicle registrations to become the sixth best-selling brand. And its model line-up is expanding all the time.
