Sell-out south coast property conference welcomes thousands

Thousands of professionals and key decision makers from around the property and construction industry came together for this year’s South Coast CPS conference to discuss opportunities and growth in the region’s commercial and residential markets.
As well as more than 120 speakers, 37 diverse panel discussions, 78 exhibitors and CPD workshops, each of the mayoral candidates Donna Jones, Martin Tod, Lorna Fielker and Anna Collar attended the conference to discuss their plans and visions for the new Hampshire and the Solent combined authority.
Running for six years, the South Coast Property Show attracts some of the biggest names in the property, planning and construction industry, who come together to discuss the south coast’s future. Big speakers in attendance this year included representatives from Amazon and Barclays, who were able to bring their expertise to big issues affecting the south coast.
The conference’s dedicated app also saw record engagement this year with 1,067 active users interacting more than 540,000 times collectively throughout the day.

The south coast industrial market and its investment opportunities, how to retain top young talent and hospitality, leisure and property regeneration were just some of the topics covered in the panel discussions – all centred around how to bring Portsmouth’s city centre back to life.
Director of South Coast CPS Lucy Richmond said: “There was a huge buzz around the conference this year and I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved. I’d like to thank every sponsor, exhibitor, speaker and partner for their support. A big part of South Coast CPS is the enormous variety of specialisms we bring together under one roof – I’m so grateful to everyone who has helped our conference evolve and grow year on year.”
Cllr Steve Pitt, Leader of Portsmouth City Council said: "We're pleased to be partnering with South Coast CPS to showcase the wide range of investment-ready opportunities across Portsmouth. This event, and the post-event tour of the city, is a chance to share our vision for Portsmouth as a thriving city to invest in, alongside presenting the great work at our groundbreaking council-owned port. It's also the ideal forum to explore the challenges facing the Central South region and explore how we can tackle them together."
South Coast CPS brings together professionals from across the south’s booming property, investment and development for a year-round schedule of events.
